It really kinda feels as if I'm losing my mind. Like reality has been inverted and my waking hours are spent in a dream and my sleeping hours are spent in some semblance of reality.
And I think I know what I need to do to remedy the situation, I just, can't bring myself to do it. Or if I do instigate my plan of action, it lasts a day or so, and I'm right back to square one. Frustrating really.
Even my creativity is suffering. It may not help that my poor body is trying to catch a cold and I keep odd hours. But let it be noted that I did get to bed before 1am, which is good for me lately.
My imagination is full of goblins and fairies and odd creatures that I don't even have a name for. Little dragons are perched on my shoulders whispering of tales long forgotten and little muses are singing songs that I know I've heard somewhere before. Time has decided to crash through space at a matter incinerating speed and I think I got my foot caught in the stirrup.
So, if any other riders through life are in slightly more control of their steeds, would you be so kind as to grab the reins of the flailing idiot's (my) mount? Once you get us to a halt, please disentangle me from the brute, render my hysterical self unconscious, and then you may be on your way. No, no, don't worry about leaving me senseless in a ditch. I'd rather be senseless in a ditch, than senseless in Time's saddle. Besides, I'm sure I'll wake up without a clue as to what happened. And there Time will stand knickering softly about a joke I should know, tempting and fooling me with how complacent he is. Caution to the wind and curiosity peeked, I'll hop once more upon his back and the crazy adventure will be on again. Problems arise only when I get cocky, let the reins fall, turn to that none existant camera and say, "Look mom, no hands!" Next thing I know I'm back on the ground, foot in the stirrup, and screaming at the top of my lungs. And my old friend dejavu has come to say hello.
