The Mischievious Couch

All the trouble seemed to start once the couch arrived. At least that's what Megan thought. She'd argued and loathed various inanimate objects in her time but this one took the proverbial cake.

It was more of a love hate relationship. See the sofa was big and fluffy and just perfect for an afternoon nap or for cuddling up with a good book on a rainy day. However, this particular piece of furniture had a sadistic streak. This thing had so much static electricity stored up it could send out an EMP strong enough to fry a MP3 player of your choice, zap a person from across the room, and even receive a nice jolt from running water.

It also had siren like qualities to lull you into sleep when you should be doing your homework. And perhaps the suction cup effect on my butt is a standard feature now-a-days?

All in all, wear a rubber jumpsuit, glue your eyelids open, and move immediately at the first signs of backside cohesiveness. Oh yes, and don't use your MP3 player as the couch becomes grouchy at the site of such things and will zap it.


Yeah, this couch and I get along just fine when it's not electrocuting the snot out of me, my computer, or Zune.

Well, I needed a break from homework. I've got a lot to do tomorrow before my blind group date. Whoot for hiking R Mountain. Meh, it might rain so we'll probably end up doing something else. Who knows?

Geh, I got to watch Boiling Rock part 1 and 2 for Avatar the Last Airbender. And it sparked all kinds of creativity. FANFIC ALERT!!! Well, more of a plot bunny alert but still I typed out about 3-4 pages. Gotta refine it before it sees the light of day.

(EDIT: Eh I lied, here it be in all its unrefined glory!!)

Gads I'm tired. Bleh. When am I not?
