The Burg is what we Rexburgians call Rexburg. :D For all I know that's what everyone in Idaho calls it.
Well, I decided to bike/walk up to the temple. For those of you who've never been here, the temple is probably on the highest hill/point in the city/town. :) So I took some pictures, four of which I think I like. I'm going to keep going at different times of the day to see if I can't get anymore interesting shots.
But anywho, while I was up there, I decided to try and take a few shots of campus and the town. Uh, you'll get the idea that it's very much so out in farmland. :D Gotta love it!
So here are some pictures! :D
This would be looking towards the highway and R Mountain. You can't see it too well in this but it is there. People like to hike it. I've never done so however that doesn't mean I never will. :D
This be Rexburg looking more towards campus and the sand dunes...I think...They might be further to the right. Okay, so that's the more residential area and to your immediate right is campus. It was close to sunset and I was loosing light fast so it was a click and run kinda thing. :D
So anyway, it's uphill no matter what you do and I was on a bike with as of now, no brakes. Oops. Not the smartest thing I've ever done. ^^; I think I left around 7 and got back around 9 as a frozen Popsicle. Yay for Crock Pot Stew and Toffee Tea!! And Memorie if you read this, yes, I tried the Almond Tea and at first it was like drinking sweetened almond extract...then I kept going and the after taste of anice hit. I couldn't finish it. Bleh! (For those of you who don't know Anice is used in licorice.) Gross!
Ah well, I've got a painting to finish. :)
