Thank Goodness It's The Weekend!!
As much as I adored and loved yesterday, I like to be grateful for the weekend as an entire whole. :D Besides, Friday is such a glory hound.
Yesterday was full of exciting adventure as Ben and I journeyed afar (like 30 minutes) to IF (Idaho Falls for you non-Idahoians). Heh! We checked out a lazer tag place and stored that in the back of our minds for future use. Huzzah! We then moved on to Game Stop, I think is the name of the place. We came in right on the tale end of a Guitar Hero competition. For which I was grateful, I don't think I could handle anymore of the "big voice" (Chicken Little is the movie to which I refer) commentator. Headache waiting with an ax!
Anywho, Ben procceeded to hand me my backside (again) in a round of DDR. Then the tables turned and I gloated over another couple victories (slaughterings) in air hockey. We then went back to DDR, again, I got pummeled. And again during the two racing games. And then it was air hockey for the last time. As of still, Ben has yet to beat me. :P
We ate at IHOP and then cruised the mall, something I haven't done in a coon's age. So I thank Ben for tolerating all of my girlyness. He did well in Bath and Body, it's when I saw Claire's that I think he seriously started to take my suggestion to throw me over his shoulder and physically remove me from the mall. LOL! Best Buy was in there somewhere too. My chronogical order memory chip is a bit fried, I blame it on High School world history. I have yet to get it replaced.
Our time in IF drew to a close at WinCo for some food shopping. Can I get a whoot for future consumption of sustanance? Yeah, okay didn't think so. Onward we go! Last and certainly least in the opinion of some, we stopped by a "necessary evil." Walmart! I had to get some paper for my printer, and Ben was in need of a beverage. I snuck in some facial wash while I was at it.
Back in Rexburg, we unloaded and stored our spoils from our adventures and then went for a walk. In my opinion, it's one of our most interesting and fun activities. Lots of time to talk, ask questions, and be silly. They usually end in hot chocolate. :) All in all a very fun day!
Lesse now, I think I might have a quiz waiting for me and I've got art waiting to be finished. And then there is game night tonight and various other things happily squished in between. Guess I'd better get cracking...after I go back to bed, wake up, and start over! Don't you just love false starts?
